The Bloomfield Group was once again proud to support the NSW Mining 2026 HSEC Conference, sponsoring the coffee cart and helping keep attendees sharp across two days of learning, discussion and connection.

Sharing experiences and learning from our colleagues across the industry is an important part of continuing to improve health, safety, environment and community outcomes.

Our Chief Corporate Services Officer, Renata Roberts, also took to the stage and the radio with 2NM to share The Bloomfield Group’s experience developing Program One, our approach to fostering a mentally safe and respectful workplace.

Built through consultation with leaders and employee representatives across the Group, Program One focuses on four practical skills that can help people navigate everyday workplace interactions

➡️ self-awareness

➡️ giving and receiving feedback

➡️ negotiating effectively and

➡️ positively influencing others.

The program recognises that psychologically safe workplaces are shaped by the conversations, relationships and behaviours that happen every day, and that creating a respectful culture requires an ongoing commitment from everyone.
