Further Support for the Singleton PCYC – DRIVE Program

The Bloomfield Group has contributed a further $15,000 to continue its support of the successful Singleton Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) Drive Program.

The program provides the young participants with the important life skill of driving which can then enable them to work and live well.

The program matches young people requiring 120 hours of driving time for their license with volunteer driving mentors. Participants of the Drive Program can also access professional driving lessons, Safe driver course and Hazard Perception test to help prepare them to drive safely and confidently.

Since 2020, the Singleton PCYC Drive Program has seen 11 young people successfully gain their ‘P’ licence with another 11 well on their way in the program. The Bloomfield group is proud to have helped contribute to the building of this important life skill for these local youth.
