The Bloomfield Group has continued its support this year for the Hunter Coal Festival Community Day at the Singleton showgrounds which was held on 29 October.

The Community Day featured free children’s entertainment, bus tours to nearby mines (including Bloomfield’s Rix’s Creek Mine), aerial motocross show by the Freestyle Kings and numerous exhibits by mining companies displaying their operations and work with the community.

Bloomfield’s display proudly showcased our cattle grazing operations. With the incredible help of the Singleton Men’s Shed, our ‘Pit to Plate’ initiative supplied a free sausage sizzle to thousands of local people, demonstrating the benefits of post mining land use and the amazing quality of our cattle grazed on rehabilitated mining land.
