Our Foundation continues to support Hunter Medical Research Institute, making a donation to local research by Dr Guy Cameron and Professor Kelvin Kong. The research project uses genomic methods to investigate the bacteria causing upper respiratory infections and childhood ear disease in Hunter New England children and young people.

Professor Kong is dedicated to addressing and raising awareness of indigenous ear health. Aboriginal children currently suffer ear disease rates and complications far greater than the general population. Loss of hearing can significantly affect social and educational outcomes.
