Rehabilitation using pasture grasses and trees is an ongoing process, with large areas having been rehabilitated in recent years.

The company implements an Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001 to ensure the ongoing success of its environmental stewardship. This includes monitoring a network of dust gauges, measuring noise and vibration and recording water qualities.

The Rix’s Creek Community Consultative Committee oversees the company’s environmental reporting and meets twice per year.
